IVHQ Verification Letter

5 Apr

I have attached a verification letter from the group I booked by service trip through. Hopefully the image works… IVHQ is a company based in New Zealand that sets people up with non-profits in the countries they want to volunteer. They hooked me up with the Mirror Foundation, the group I will be volunteering with in Thailand.

so my nana was just telling me how her trip to thailand was her favorite ever… considering her travels, that is huge. I'm so excited for you!

Hi, i’m interested by the mirror foundation and i would like to be volunteer this summer. I saw on their website that we can directly contact them, instead of contacting IVHQ. It’s more affordable! However i was wondering if there’s any difference in the camp or actvities?
Thanks for your answer, your trip was awesome!

Hi Stephen. You should definitely contact Mirror directly to save yourself the IVHQ fees. I can give you the contact info of who you need to get in touch with if it’s not on the website. There is no difference whether you come through another organization or go strait to Mirror. IVHQ gives you an information packet about Thailand, but I think I even still have that stuff. If you want I can email to you. It looks like you’ve been doing some research on your own though, so I think you’ll be fine without their generic info šŸ™‚ If you have any specific questions on what to bring, the work or what Mirror is like I’d be happy to answer them. Just email me at chelseadifran@yahoo.com. I did the teaching program, but I also know a ton of people who did outdoor if that’s what you’re interested in. I can also get you in touch with some people who are currently there if you want to know what kind of supplies and donations they need right now. They LOVE you if you bring stuff they need!
I hope you have an amazing time! Feel free to email me about anything.
